[CH.21] Cross-dressing is acceptable to a certain extent

Due to Zhang Jingya driving away her brother, the so-called gathering had completely turned into a meeting among "girls." The well-dressed girls had no complaints about it, as it was all about having fun, and the presence or absence of boys made no difference.

Han Huayang didn't find a chance to explain his gender and couldn't escape Zhang Jingya's enthusiastic invitation. He was sandwiched between the girls, listening to their lively conversations, which were making his head spin.

The five girls came from a girls' high school's light music club. However, from their choice of makeup, it was evident that this group was not gathering for afternoon tea like a cute and soft music band. They were more of a hot and trendy girl group.

The members included a fiery blonde pigtailed lead singer, a keyboardist who was taller than the door frame, a neurotic drummer who could use her shiny forehead as a drumstick, a guitar-playing girl with braces and a sweet voice, and a relatively normal-looking gloomy bassist.

Han Huayang wasn't good at remembering other people's names, and these girls' conversations were too random, unrelated to each other. Apart from the lead singer, Zhang Jingya, Han Huayang hadn't remembered anyone else's name.

"Sister, are you also a student at South City University?"

"Uh..."

"Why do you say you're a boy?"

"Because I really am a boy..."

"Sister, you're saying that again. Girls can't fool other girls. Come on, let us give you a makeover."

"Wait... Where are you taking me?!"

The original plan for the gathering was to go sing, but Zhang Jingya changed her mind at the last minute. Since everyone present was girls, she thought it would be better to go shopping for clothes. Besides, she wanted to find some suitable outfits herself.

She grabbed Han Huayang's arm and casually dragged him into a clothing store along the road.

Zhang Jingya picked out a few dresses from the shelves that she found pleasing and stuffed them all into Han Huayang's arms.

"Hurry up and try them on. If they don't fit, you can change them."

"Hey, these dresses are pretty expensive. Won't people say something if I just wear them without buying..."

"Of course not, you can wear them without buying. Haven't you ever bought clothes before?"

"But..."

"No 'buts,' just try them on."

Zhang Jingya pushed Han Huayang into the fitting room and also handed him two flesh-colored soft adhesive pads.

"Remember to put these on later."

"What are these for?"

"You haven't used breast pads before?"

Han Huayang was still puzzled, "What are these?"

"Breast pads..." Zhang Jingya leaned closer to Han Huayang's ear and whispered, "Sister, you didn't bring a bra, right? These are used to cover up a bit. By the way, are you wearing anything down there too? You're not going commando, are you?"

Han Huayang snatched the two adhesive pads and blushing, said, "Of course, I'm wearing something down there!"

He closed the curtain, looked at the clothes piled on the chair, tightly held the adhesive pads in his hand, and felt a throbbing headache coming on.

Things had escalated to this point, and if he didn't wear women's clothing, it wouldn't be easy to explain. Han Huayang was afraid that even if he refused, Zhang Jingya would come in and help him put on women's clothing.

"This is something I have no choice but to do. It's not like I want to wear this myself."

Han Huayang comforted himself and began to change clothes.

In fact, Han Huayang had many ways to prove himself to Zhang Jingya, such as showing her his "equipment" directly. But that kind of behavior was naturally rejected by Han Huayang. "Love and Justice" had already reached level 3, and it was starting to have a slight influence on him. He wasn't going to expose his little buddy in front of the girls.

And, indeed, Han Huayang himself wanted to try on a dress.

Most of the dresses Zhang Jingya had given him were one-piece dresses. They ranged in price from 1200 to 2300 yuan. As autumn and winter dresses, each dress had thick fabric.

Han Huayang put on a black and white faux two-piece long dress. The white faux blouse on the upper body had loose bubble sleeves and a long, thin ribbon tied in a butterfly bow shape at the neckline. The pure black long skirt had a high-waisted design, emphasizing the waistline with lines on both sides of the abdomen. The length of the dress covered his knees, ensuring he didn't have to worry about revealing too much.

The entire dress wasn't overly decorated, but the fabric was of high quality, exuding a sense of sophistication within its simplicity. Han Huayang looked quite elegant in it, and even his short hair appeared somewhat cute.

Generally speaking, it's more challenging to wear this kind of simple dress. Simple designs can highlight a woman's body proportions, magnifying strengths while potentially exposing some flaws.

Han Huayang was originally a guy, and he didn't have the curves that a woman's upper body should have. This single shortcoming left him feeling a bit disappointed.

If he transformed into Alice, she would probably be more suitable to wear this dress. After all, Alice was at a D+.

"Damn! There's no need to think about transforming just to wear a dress..."

Pushing aside these unnecessary thoughts, Han Huayang opened the fitting room curtain. He stood there with his hands behind his back and asked shyly, "How do I look...?"

The real girls were all stunned. After a moment of surprise, the first to react was the gloomy girl who hadn't spoken throughout the outing.

"It suits you very well, but you might want to add some shoulder pads later."

Since Zhang Jingya was also of a petite build, she immediately got emotional upon hearing this, even protesting on behalf of Han Huayang.

"Qianqiu, this sister doesn't need to pad her chest, she's perfect as she is. As long as her body proportions are balanced, there's no need for a bust!"

"I meant shoulder pads," the gloomy bassist named Qianqiu patted her own shoulders to clarify her previous comment.

"But, Xiao Ya, you might not be able to pull off this dress. After all, you're not just flat-chested, but you're also short. Wearing this kind of dress will only make your legs look short."

Qianqiu patted Zhang Jingya's head but was angrily pushed away by her. Qianqiu had pointed out the two things that Zhang Jingya was most insecure about, making her very displeased. She turned her head away, pouting, and ignored Qianqiu.

After a few breaths, Zhang Jingya regained her composure and reached out to Han Huayang.

"This dress really suits you. With a bit more makeup and longer hair, you'll be an amazing girl. That's enough for the fitting session, let's go eat."

Qianqiu muttered softly on the side, "Xiao Ya, eating alone won't make you taller, you know. Eating too much will only make you gain weight."

"Get lost, Qianqiu, you're always picking on me!"

Han Huayang handed the clothes to Zhang Jingya as instructed. "Don't you want me to try on the other clothes?"

To be honest, he actually wanted to try on some of the other dresses. Zhang Jingya had a good sense of style, and each dress she picked had a unique charm. There might be another dress among them that suited Han Huayang even better.

"No need. This one is really nice. Let's go eat quickly."

"Wait... Do I need to change the clothes back?"

"Changing them back would be a waste of time. Let's just put the clothes in a bag."

Zhang Jingya pulled Han Huayang's arm and called out to the store clerk, "I'll take this dress, and give me the same one in a smaller size."

Before Han Huayang could refuse, Zhang Jingya had already paid. She put the male clothes that Han Huayang had been wearing and the extra purchased dress into a bag and walked out happily.

Qianqiu, who had been wearing a poker face all this time, stood by Han Huayang's side and smiled, an unusual sight. Her lips curled up, and she smiled like an evil witch.

"Hehe, (slurping sound). Don't you think that Xiao Ya is so cute like this? Clearly, she won't grow any taller, but she still wants to... You should eat more, it's only good when you get all chubby... hehehe..."

Han Huayang couldn't ignore the malice emanating from Qianqiu. He turned his head, staring blankly at the grinning girl. This gloomy girl emitted strange laughter, and her dark pupils had no glimmer of light. She cupped her cheeks, and the drool that dripped down left marks on her pale foundation.

"Uh, are you okay?"

"Don't worry too much. Qianqiu is always like this, she'll be fine in a while."

The slender keyboardist patted Han Huayang's shoulder and followed the other two girls out.

Chen Qianqiu, the gloomy bassist in the girls' light music club, was the one who talked the least and had the most elaborate makeup among the five. The bass guitar she played could emit subsonic waves, even reaching the frequency of a heartbeat.

Chen Qianqiu seemed normal on the surface, but in reality, she was the truly eccentric one among them. She was a yandere lesbian who had fallen deeply in love with the warm-hearted Zhang Jingya from the very first day she joined the club.

Except for Zhang Jingya, the other members of the band were aware of this fact. However, because Chen Qianqiu's affection was so intense, they didn't want to bring it up with Zhang Jingya.

The drummer with the shiny forehead warned Han Huayang with a serious face, "You better not get too close to Jingya. If Qianqiu gets jealous, she might do some really scary things to you."

"How scary are we talking about?"

The sweet-voiced guitarist recalled something that had happened to her in the past and shed a couple of emotional tears. She looked up at the sky at a 45-degree angle and said, "Unbearable torment and suffering..."

Seeing the others getting emotional, Han Huayang started feeling a bit scared.

"It can't be that terrifying, right?"

"We're all from the same school after all. If Qianqiu thinks she's a threat to her romance, she might really..."

The slender keyboardist smacked the drummer's forehead and whispered, "Keep your voice down, Qianqiu is coming over."
