[CH.52] The Plan has Changed

After taking a shower, Alice changed into the clothes that her senior sister had already washed for her.

What should she use these [500 love points] for? Perhaps she could send 100,000 yuan (100 love points) to her mother and sister first, and then use the rest to purchase new skills and upgrade attributes.

After all, there was no need to rush to consider other things since the gang wasn't coming after her. Maybe she could even set aside some money to buy some clothes.

She wanted to buy some cute, flowing dresses, a few pairs of short socks, or maybe even try some black stockings like her senior sister. Of course, the most important thing was to buy a few more pieces of underwear...

... Wait, do I really need to think about this so much? In the end, I'm going to become Han Huayang. Ah~ I'm really getting stranger and stranger.

Putting aside her excessive thoughts, Alice slid her dried legs into her thigh-high stockings.

She still had to attend afternoon classes, and the teacher in that class always took attendance. Alice had already missed a class last Thursday, and if she got marked absent one more time, she wouldn't have to take the final exam.

Alice put on her shoes and just then heard the sound of the door opening downstairs.

Was it her senior sister who had come back?

Thinking about her senior sister, Alice excitedly ran downstairs. However, the person who arrived was not her senior sister but Chen Qianqiu in ordinary attire.

Chen Qianqiu seemed to be working as a maid and came back to clean the house every afternoon.

Alice's anticipation quickly faded, and the bright look in her eyes darkened once more. Her smile disappeared from her face.

"Oh, it's you..."

"Good afternoon, Miss." Chen Qianqiu nodded to Alice. "I hope I'm not disturbing you. Are you getting ready to go out?"

"Well... By the way, do you really come to clean the house every day? Do high school students have this much free time?"

"Did I ever say I'm a high school student? I just met you for the first time yesterday, right?"

"Oh, well... mainly because you look a lot like a high school student..."

Chen Qianqiu was indeed a high school student, but she had already secured a guaranteed admission to South City University early in the year and had no need to attend school anymore. She only went to classes to see her beloved Zhang Jingya and play with her in the band, participating in performances and training.

As for the rest of her time, Chen Qianqiu had been working various jobs.

Housekeeping and cleaning were among the more relaxed jobs she took on. After all, this house was usually unoccupied, and Chen Qianqiu had never seen the owner of the house.

It was simply an empty house, and because nobody lived in it, it only needed a bit of cleaning each day. In an extreme case, even if Chen Qianqiu skipped work every day, nobody would notice.

Why would someone spend money to have someone clean an empty house? Chen Qianqiu couldn't understand the thinking of wealthy people, but she didn't need to delve into the details of it.

Doing some simple tasks and being able to leave, and sometimes even staying the night here, was an easy and lucrative opportunity. Who wouldn't be willing to do it?

Yesterday was the first time Chen Qianqiu had seen other people in this house, so she naturally assumed Alice was the owner of the house. However, during their last encounter, Chen Qianqiu had been preoccupied with thoughts of Zhang Jingya and hadn't paid much attention to the girl.

Standing in front of her, Alice was a petite and adorable girl, radiating a unique and charming loveliness alongside her sadness.

Her soft wrists, an impressive absolute territory, fair and delicate skin with a hint of rosiness, and slightly swollen eyes...

Even Chen Qianqiu, who constantly thought about Zhang Jingya, wholeheartedly acknowledged Alice's beauty.

Alice seemed to have a certain enchanting quality that stirred an impulse within Chen Qianqiu, a maternal instinct. Chen Qianqiu had a slight urge to embrace the girl before her, pat her back to console her in her moments of sadness.

However, alongside these emotions, there was a slight feeling of something not quite right circulating in Chen Qianqiu's heart. She stared at Alice intently, carefully examining her face.

This adorable girl... she looked somewhat like someone she had seen before...

Her unabashed gaze made Alice feel uncomfortable. Besides her senior sister, Alice had never been alone in a room with anyone else, and she had never been stared at so closely by someone before.

The discomfort gradually turned into awkwardness, and Alice quickly found an excuse and hurriedly left the villa.

---

On the road leading to the villa area, there was a slow-moving van.

In the van were three thugs wrapped in bandages. The driver had a neck brace, and in the backseat, there were two people, one with a broken left arm and the other with a broken right leg.

These individuals were the same trio that had been beaten up earlier while playing cards, though it would be more fitting to call them the "Fractured Trio" now.

By reviewing surveillance footage, the Fractured Trio had found the car that took Han Huayang away and used it as a lead to locate the unfortunate driver. They had subjected the driver to a severe beating and eventually learned the whereabouts of Han Huayang.

Currently, they were on their way to the villa area where Han Huayang was located.

Sitting in the swaying van, the thug with the broken arm asked the one with the broken leg, "By the way, why aren't we ambushing Han Huayang at his school? Didn't Boss Wang Biao confirm that he goes to school there?"

"Are you stupid or something? If you had narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt yesterday, would you be going to school today as if nothing happened? This guy has run so far, he's definitely planning to escape!"

"That's true. But last time, we couldn't catch him. Can we really grab him this time?"

The driver, with the neck brace, impatiently tapped the steering wheel and complained, "What are you scared of? Last time was just a temporary mistake. We'll charge at him, tackle him, tie him up securely with a rope, and see how he struggles."

"Got it, but I have one more question."

"You and your questions! Ask away, you're acting like a busybody."

"Without Boss Wang Biao's help, can we really find that 5 million? We only know he's gone to the villa area, but we have no idea where he lives, do we?"

For a while, there was a long silence in the car. These three individuals were just your average thugs, and apart from fighting, they didn't possess any other skills.

Originally, they had wanted to ask for Wang Biao's help, but he had flatly refused, claiming he had other arrangements.

Wang Biao had already completed his task, which was to find Han Huayang's address. Whether the gang had captured him or not wasn't within his scope of responsibility. He had even urged the three of them to settle their dues promptly during the phone call.

Without Wang Biao, how were they supposed to locate their target? Were they going to check house by house, one by one? That would be too troublesome.

"By the way... does anyone have a photo of the target?" the one with the broken leg suddenly asked the other two.

"I have it on my phone. Hey, I'm a pro, you know!"

"Delete it quickly! After all, we're just here to grab someone, so let's just grab anyone and take them back—preferably several people. You can make a mistake with the person, but we absolutely can't be short on quantity. Let's give the boss a surprise and show him our skills."

"Wow, that's a great idea! The boss will definitely look at us in a new light."

The thug with the broken arm immediately deleted Han Huayang's photo as per the instructions. Although the driver with the neck brace didn't say anything, he silently accepted the proposal.

However, these three thugs hadn't thought things through. They intended to capture someone in the villa area, but who lived there?

Even if they weren't high-profile figures, they were still wealthy people who had received millions in compensation for property demolition.

Planning to mess with this group of people, these three individuals truly had no grasp of their own status. They were just ordinary extras, without even names. By coming up with this solution, these individuals were practically hoping for their gang to meet a quick demise.

Driving along the outskirts of the villa area, the three thugs quickly spotted a girl who had arrived in the area by bus.

Although the girl's attire was somewhat ordinary, her figure was decent, and her face could be considered conventionally attractive. Her appearance fell right within the interests of the three men, so they immediately added her to their list of potential kidnapping targets.

They used binoculars to confirm which house the girl had entered.

Just as they were figuring out how to bypass the security system and sneak in, the thug who had been keeping watch suddenly shouted in excitement.

"Wow, I've found a goddess!"

"What goddess? Let me see—" another thug tried to take the binoculars but as soon as he peered through them, his nose started bleeding. "Wow, she's really a goddess! Those legs are incredible, aren't they?! I can't handle this, I'm going to die."

"Is it really that exaggerated?"

The last thug finally looked through the binoculars. As he gazed through the lens, his pants swelled up and then deflated slowly. He put down the binoculars and somewhat awkwardly stared at the other two.

"Didn't the boss give us a deadline for the day after tomorrow? How about we put the kidnapping on hold for now?"

No one opposed the suggestion, and the three of them reached a unanimous decision.

"Very well, plan change. As for what to do, we all know what's on our minds."

Compared to kidnapping, these three guys were more interested in relieving the recent buildup of stress.

The humiliation they endured from their boss had to be compensated by bullying others, naturally.
