[CH.28] Jealous? Absolutely not!
On the rooftop at night, three magical girls gathered to chat.

Her senpai embraced Alice and nuzzled her cheek affectionately. She had been stressed by Mercury's antics earlier and now sought solace in Alice's softness. The scent of her senpai's body overwhelmed Alice's senses, and the embrace melted her rationality.
Just before her defenses crumbled completely, Alice summoned the strength to pull away from her senpai's tender embrace.
"Wait, there are some things I want to ask you. Senpai, are you close with Mercury?"
"Not really, just acquaintances."

Alice didn't quite believe her senpai's explanation. The relationship between Mercury and her senpai seemed much closer than mere acquaintances.

Alice said, her voice getting smaller.
Her senpai squinted her eyes and smiled mischievously. "What's this, are you jealous?"
"No, I'm not!"
Alice vehemently denied, her voice even cracking a bit. But her senpai didn't react much. She just tapped Alice's pen and continued calmly.
"Mercury is like that with everyone. She used to stick to you at first, right? That's just her personality. I've snatched her monster a few times before, so we got to know each other. Besides, I don't even know her true identity, so you don't have to worry about her stealing me away."
"I... I'm not worried about that kind of thing!"
